Prepared Interpretation Plan to inform the strategic development of the National Waterways Museum and Historic Boat Collection at Ellesmere Port. This recommended the use of live interpreters and other techniques to rejuvenate the site, develop its potential for training and skills development, and interpret the wider setting of the historic port. New themes were developed to explain its significance in relation to the River Mersey and Manchester Ship Canal, Northwest Industrial Heritage and the national canal network.
